The 15th Global Investigative Journalism Conference takes place in Rotterdam from October 19 to 23, 2027. GIJN and the Dutch-Flemish Association of Investigative Journalists (VVOJ) host it together. The venue is de Doelen ICC Rotterdam. The event will offer more than 150 expert panels and workshops. Topics include AI, online search, cross-border teamwork, climate, corruption, and data journalism. Moreover, you will meet reporters from over 100 countries.

- Transport from the airport to the conference hotel
- Four nights in a hotel
- Conference registration
- Breakfast and lunch on conference days (October 20–23)

How to Apply for the GIJC27 Fellowship
First, read the eligibility rules and guidelines. Next, open the official application form. Then, write your answers in English. Finally, explain how you will use the training. GIJN cannot reply to each applicant, due to the high volume. However, you can write to [email protected] with questions.
Tips for a Strong Fellowship Application
- Show how the training will help your work.
- Give clear examples of your reporting.
- Explain how you will share what you learn.
