Too many women in sub-Saharan Africa face structural barriers that limit business growth. However, programs like WCW-I are changing that narrative—one entrepreneur at a time. With applications open until 24 June 2025, now is the perfect time to apply and join a powerful community focused on impact, inclusion, and wealth creation.
Why You Should Apply
First and foremost, WCW-I is free, providing access to over six months of expert-led business training, coaching, and networking. The program is carefully designed to help African women entrepreneurs shift from generating income to building lasting wealth.
Participants will gain:
- Practical business skills in finance, marketing, leadership, and systems
- Personalized technical coaching to refine business models and drive scale
- A 3-year growth plan and a compelling pitch deck to attract investment

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, you must:
- Be 18 years or older, with a secondary school education
- Own a business in Kenya, Malawi, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, or Zambia
- Have a minimum turnover of $10,000 per year
- Employ at least five young people
- Have been operating your business for two or more years
- Work in key sectors like agriculture, ICT, energy, tourism, or manufacturing
- Not be involved in another long-term entrepreneurship program
Program Overview
The Women Creating Wealth Intergenerational program starts with a 1-week onboarding bootcamp, followed by 6 weeks of guided learning across three main courses: business readiness, market readiness, and finance readiness. After this, eligible participants move into 3 months of tailored coaching, focused on scaling and sustainability.
Weekly toolkit submissions and masterclasses ensure that you’re putting knowledge into action. Meanwhile, face-to-face networking events and roundtables provide opportunities to build strong business relationships.
The Bigger Goal
So far, WCW has impacted over 2,000 women entrepreneurs across Africa. Now, the goal is to reach 10,000 businesswomen, generating $1 billion in revenue and 200,000 jobs in five years.
