BLEND, a global localisation and language-services company, is recruiting native speakers for remote, project-based voice-over, voice-sample and AI speech-data work. Many tasks can be done from home with a phone or a decent microphone, and some don’t need professional voice-over experience.
Read this first: each project has its own language, accent and location rules, and many current calls are for languages and accents outside Africa. Several projects also ask you to license your voice for AI voice cloning. Read the terms carefully before you record.
Types of Work Being Advertised
- English voice-over (US accent) — warm, natural customer-service style recordings; light British accents also considered; no professional experience needed
- English voice samples (US and Canada residents) — 1–2 minutes of natural speech recorded on a phone or computer for a speech-technology project
- Spanish and Portuguese AI voice talent — female voices for Mexican Spanish and neutral Brazilian Portuguese; requires a quiet space, a USB microphone and uncompressed WAV files; includes non-exclusive AI voice-cloning rights
- Basque and Galician voice-over — male and female native speakers; a 2-minute sample; recordings licensed for commercial and synthetic-voice use
- Multilingual recordings in 27 language varieties — including Gulf, Saudi, UAE and Lebanese Arabic, European and Canadian French, Spanish and Portuguese varieties, Greek, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Japanese, Polish, Swedish and Turkish; a short unpaid sample first, then paid production work
Which projects are open changes often, so check the BLEND talent portal for what is live when you apply.

For other African languages, create a BLEND talent profile so you can be matched to future projects.
Before You Record: What to Check
- Voice licensing: several projects license your recordings for commercial use and synthetic (AI) voice models. Your voice could be used to train or clone AI voices. Only agree if you are comfortable with this.
- Unpaid samples: the first sample is often unpaid. Keep it short and as requested.
- Pay and payment method: confirm the rate and how you will be paid before production work.
- Never pay a fee to get a recording job. Apply only through BLEND’s official portal.
How to Apply
- Go to the official BLEND talent portal and create a profile.
- Browse current projects and pick one that matches your language, accent and location.
- Complete the screening questions and read the licensing terms.
- Record and upload the requested sample in a quiet room.
- If selected, you will be invited to paid recording work.
