Ban Ki-moon Foundation Your Future in Green Jobs Mentorship Program 2026 for ages 14–20, deadline October 25, 2026 Closes 25 Oct

Are you between 14 and 20 and passionate about the planet? The Ban Ki-moon Foundation wants to hear from you. Its Your Future in Green Jobs Mentorship Program 2026 is now open to young people anywhere in the world. Only 50 people will be chosen, and the deadline is October 25, 2026, so read on and apply early.

About the Your Future in Green Jobs Mentorship Program

The Ban Ki-moon Foundation (BKMF) runs this programme with Dubai Cares, Plan International and Unbounded Associates. It helps teenagers and young adults link their interests and skills to real careers in the green economy.

The mentorship builds on the foundation’s free, self-paced Your Future in Green Jobs Online Course. It runs online from December 2026 to June 2027. During that time, each participant plans and delivers a Changemaker Project that tackles a local problem linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Benefits of the Programme

  • One-to-one mentorship from professionals already working in green jobs
  • Virtual expert workshops on project management, pitching, presentation skills, education, gender and climate
  • A real Changemaker Project in your own community
  • Green career guidance to help you find a path that fits your strengths
  • A global network of mentors and young changemakers

Note: this is a mentorship and skills programme. The official call does not mention any cash prize or stipend.
