Ever wondered what goes on behind the Cowrywise app? Nigerian fintech Cowrywise is inviting its customers to apply for its One-Day Internship 2026. Selected customers spend a day at the company’s office, meet the team and work alongside the department they choose, from engineering and data to marketing, legal and design.
The programme is open to existing Cowrywise customers, whether you’re a student, a graduate or already working. No deadline has been published, so apply as soon as you can.

About the One-Day Internship
Cowrywise has run customer experiences like this since 2019, when it invited four customers to spend a day with its customer service team. In 2023, it held a One-Day Internship for Customer Service Week. It received more than 2,500 applications and selected 11 customers, who met the co-founders, got a product update and worked with the team of their choice.
The 2026 edition invites customers to “experience life on the other side of the app”: meet the people behind Cowrywise, experience its culture, learn from different teams and enjoy a day of work, fun and new connections.

Eligibility

- You can be an undergraduate, postgraduate student, unemployed graduate, employee or self-employed.
- You should be interested in fintech and in learning how a tech company works.
- You must be able to attend in person at the Cowrywise office on the day you’re given.

Tips
- Pick a team that fits your goals. A computer science student might choose Backend Engineering, and a law graduate Legal & Compliance.
- Apply quickly. In 2023, more than 2,500 people applied for 11 places.

- Bring questions on the day. Ask about career paths, skills and how to get a full-time role in fintech.
