About the CrossCulture Programme
The CrossCulture Programme aims to strengthen civil society. Each fellow works alongside a host organisation in their field, shares knowledge and builds new partnerships. They then take what they’ve learned back to their home organisation. Fellows also join a transcultural workshop, networking events and professional meetings, and become part of a large CCP alumni network.
Focus Areas
Fellowships are mainly awarded to people working in:
- Policy and society
- Media and culture
- Human rights and peace
- Sustainable development and climate justice
- Democratic resilience (a special focus for 2027)
Benefits
For participants travelling from abroad, ifa covers:
- A monthly stipend of €650
- Return airfare
- Accommodation
- A monthly public transport ticket in your host city
- Health insurance
- Reimbursement of visa fees
The programme also includes:
- Work with a host organisation from the CCP network
- Mentoring throughout the fellowship
- Professional development in your field, online or in person
- A four-day transcultural workshop
- Networking with other fellows, and lifelong membership of the CCP alumni network
The fellowship doesn’t cover family members, such as a spouse, partner or children.

Tips for a Strong Application
