At the end, the strongest candidates are offered permanent roles at the bank.

The posting doesn’t state the salary or contract length. You’ll learn these details if you’re shortlisted.

Important: This Is a Talent Pool

FNB says this advert is not for an active vacancy. It’s collecting applications to build a talent pool for the 2027 academy and similar roles. That means:

  • You may not get a quick reply or a rejection notice.
  • Your application may be considered for other similar roles that open later.

Tips for a Strong Application

  • Apply by 30 October. Don’t wait until the 31st.
  • Confirm your degree is FAIS-recognised and state your NQF level clearly on your CV.
  • Show client-facing skills. Mention customer service, sales, tutoring or any role where you advised or helped people.
  • Highlight relevant modules and marks, such as investments, portfolio management, tax or estate planning.
  • Say which hub you’re based in, or that you’re ready to relocate.
  • Keep your CV short and professional, at one to two pages, with achievements in bullet points.
