African Leadership Centre Associate Fellowship 2026/2027

The African Leadership Centre Associate Fellowship 2026/2027 is now open for African students interested in peace, security, and development studies. The fellowship supports applicants pursuing the MSc Global Leadership and Peacebuilding programme at King’s College London.

Peace and Security Fellowship for African Students

The fellowship focuses on developing future African leaders committed to peacebuilding, governance, and sustainable development.

Successful applicants will receive:

  • A bursary covering 25% of tuition fees
  • £5,000 contribution toward living expenses
  • Mentorship and academic support
  • Access to research resources and networks
  • Opportunity for a paid six-month attachment after the programme

Eligibility for the African Leadership Centre Fellowship 2027/2027

  • Hold valid travel documents before acceptance

  • Completed online application form
  • Supporting statement of 500–750 words
  • Two recommendation letters
  • Recent CV not longer than two pages
