The opportunity is open to applicants living in a member state of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS).

Therefore, eligible entrepreneurs across Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific can apply if they meet the other requirements.

Nigeria is an OACPS member state, so Nigerian entrepreneurs can apply.

What Are the Academic Requirements?

However, applicants must complete the required e-MOVE learning pathway before submitting their business idea.

The two mandatory courses are:

  1. Introduction to Conservation Agriculture
  2. Creating an Investment-Ready Agribusiness

The courses are available online and free of charge.

What Documents or Information Are Required?

Applicants need to complete the required online training and obtain the certificate ID from the Creating an Investment-Ready Agribusiness course.

You will also need to prepare an AgriCanvas based on the Business Model Canvas.

The submission form asks for information about:

  • Your business idea
  • Climate-smart or resilience features
  • Revenue model
  • Estimated capital needed to start or scale the project
  • Your valid course certificate ID

The completed AgriCanvas must be entered directly into the official submission form.

When Is the Deadline?

The deadline for the current submission window is:

October 30, 2026.

Applicants should complete the required courses early. This gives you enough time to develop your AgriCanvas and submit the final application before the closing date.

Step 3: Develop Your AgriCanvas

Use the Business Model Canvas provided by the programme to explain your business idea, customers, revenue model and growth plans.

Step 4: Submit Your Idea

Enter your completed AgriCanvas and other requested information into the official submission form.

Only submissions made through the official form will be considered.
