African health entrepreneurs can now apply for Pitch Perfect Africa 2026, a pitch competition for early-stage ventures developing health-focused solutions.
Also, the programme will select six H2i Level 2 ventures to present their ideas to expert judges. After the competition, three winning ventures will each receive a CAD $5,000 Innovation Fellowship to support their next stage of growth. Fellowship payments may take three to four months after the competition.

Eligibility for Pitch Perfect Africa 2026
Applicants must meet the programme’s specific rules. To qualify, the venture must:
- Be a current H2i Level 2 HENT venture
- Have joined the programme through its lead mentor by 31 August 2026
- Be at the Discovery stage of H2i’s four-level venture model
- Not have won Pitch Perfect Africa before
However, past finalists who did not win may apply again. However, the onboarding requirement has no exception. Ventures outside the H2i community can join H2i as a client company to access mentorship, programmes, and future opportunities.
Application Dates and Pitch Masterclass
Applicants should note these important dates:
- Applications open: 8 September 2026
- Application deadline: 29 September 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time
- Pitch preparation masterclass: 9 October 2026
- Virtual pitch competition: 16 November 2026
The masterclass will run on Zoom from 8:00–9:00 a.m. ET, or 12:00–1:00 p.m. GMT. It will cover the main parts of a strong pitch, including the problem, solution, market, competition, team, revenue model, and milestones.
