iProBono ACCELERATE Program 2026 at a Glance
The ACCELERATE programme welcomes both registered and unregistered organisations. It also accepts applications from individuals who lead community action or build local movements.
Applicants will provide basic details about their organisation or initiative, including:
- Name, country, and year established
- Legal status and organisation type
- Primary contact person and email address
- Website or social-media link, where available
- Mission, vision, main work areas, and communities served
Also, your organisation profile should be simple and clear. Explain what you do, who you work with, and what makes your approach useful or different.
iProBono ACCELERATE Project Proposal Requirements
Applicants must present a practical project idea that responds to a real community challenge. Your proposal should show the problem, the people affected, and the change you aim to achieve.
The application asks you to explain:
- The key issue or gap your project will address
- The people most affected by the problem
- Your project’s working title and main objectives
- The visible change you expect by the end of the project
- The activities you plan to deliver
- How each activity will help achieve results
- Your organisation’s experience and team capacity
- The direct beneficiaries and expected number of people reached
- Your plans to sustain or expand the work after the project ends
Keep each written answer focused. Most narrative questions allow a maximum of 300 words. As a result, use short sentences, clear examples, and realistic figures.
iProBono ACCELERATE Video Submission Option
You may submit one short video instead of written answers for four parts of the form: the problem statement, planned activities, project audience, and expected organisational impact.
However, follow the video rules carefully:
- Record one video of no more than three minutes
- Keep the file size below 750 MB
- Upload the video under Question 19
- Enter “video submission” in Questions 10, 12, 14, and 17
A video can help you tell your story in a direct and personal way. For example, you can explain the issue your community faces, introduce your team, and describe how your project will create change.
iProBono ACCELERATE Budget Template
Every applicant must upload a proposed budget. Use the official ACCELERATE budget template and attach it to your application.
Your budget should match the activities in your project plan. For instance, if you plan community training, include the costs of facilitators, learning materials, transport, venue hire, communication, and monitoring.
You can upload the budget as a PDF, document, or spreadsheet. Before you submit, check your figures and make sure the file opens correctly.
iProBono ACCELERATE Capacity Support
The programme offers more than financial support. Applicants can choose the areas where they need help. These options include legal advice, governance, operations, communications, advocacy, funding readiness, finance, and project management.
You may also request support with:
- Data systems and digital tools
- Monitoring, evaluation, and learning
- Human resources
- Policy analysis and drafting
- Digitalisation
