Are you an ambitious student from a non-EU or non-EER country dreaming of studying in the Netherlands? The University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) 2026 offers outstanding international students the opportunity to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree at one of Europe’s most innovative universities, the University of Twente (UT).
What the UTS Offers
The University of Twente Scholarship supports exceptional students who demonstrate academic excellence and leadership potential. Recipients receive a scholarship ranging from €3,000 to €22,000 for one academic year. For two-year programs, students who meet specific academic progress requirements can receive the same scholarship amount for the second year.
The scholarship helps cover study-related expenses, giving students the freedom to allocate funds where they need them most — whether for accommodation, study materials, or living costs.
Two-Year Programme Benefits
If you are enrolled in a two-year Master’s program, you can extend your UTS for the second year. To qualify, you must:
- Maintain an average grade of 7 (out of 10) by the end of the third quarter of your first year.
- Complete at least 50% of European Credits (ECs) by that time.
Additional Scholarship Opportunity
UTS recipients can also apply for the Kipaji Scholarship( Here) available for programs starting in September 2026. This award supports students from developing countries with exceptional academic potential. If you’re eligible, indicate your interest in your motivation letter during the UTS application.
