What Is the Truist Foundation Fellowship?
The Truist Foundation Fellowship, powered by the Watson Institute, is a 16-week venture and leadership development program designed for entrepreneurs creating measurable impact in underserved or underbanked communities. The fellowship focuses on practical business growth, leadership development, and community engagement rather than theory alone.
Unlike many programs, this fellowship removes financial barriers. It is fully funded through the generous support of the Truist Foundation, which means participants can focus on learning, building, and leading without worrying about program costs.
Since 2021, the fellowship has supported more than 2,400 entrepreneurs. Together, Fellows have created hundreds of jobs and raised millions of dollars in capital, proving the program delivers real-world results.
