An Overview of the Tech Equity Hub
Between July 15 and September 19, 2025, a select group of 8 to 10 Black and Latinx women founders will be immersed in a carefully structured experience. It has been designed to equip each participant with the tools, mentorship, and capital needed to scale their ventures confidently and sustainably.
Notably, the program will begin with a full-day, in-person workshop in Chicago, where founders will be brought together to connect, collaborate, and engage in high-impact teambuilding activities. Following the kickoff, the majority of the program will be conducted virtually—allowing for flexibility while maintaining depth through bi-weekly workshops, mentorship sessions, and community-building events.
A Curriculum Rooted in Results
Over the course of the program, a comprehensive curriculum will be delivered by expert faculty and accomplished mentors from across the nation. Participants can expect topics to include:
- Product design and development
- Marketing, branding, and sales strategies
- Legal and fundraising fundamentals
- Leadership development and growth planning
The sessions will be thoughtfully curated to ensure both practical relevance and strategic insight. As a result, each founder will be guided not only in building their company—but in leading it with clarity and purpose.
Who Should Apply to the Tech Equity Hub?
Applications are being welcomed from Black and Latinx women who are:
- Building a technology-based solution aimed at solving significant social or environmental challenges
- In possession of a validated proof of concept for their solution
- Available to attend the in-person kickoff in Chicago, as well as virtual sessions twice weekly for the duration of the program
