The Atlantic Dialogues Emerging Leaders (ADEL) program is officially accepting applications for its 12th edition, set to take place from December 7–11, 2025, in Rabat, Morocco. This fully funded, high-impact initiative, led by the Policy Center for the New South (PCNS), is your gateway to influence, global connection, and lasting change.

Following the leadership program, participants will take part in the Atlantic Dialogues Conference from December 11–13, 2025, where they’ll engage with high-level policymakers, global thinkers, and innovators in open, cross-regional dialogues.

But first—you must act before the application deadline on Sunday, June 15th, 2025.

If you meet the criteria below, we strongly encourage you to apply. We’re looking for individuals who are:

  • Between 25–35 years old (as of May 7, 2025)
  • Citizens or residents of countries in the Atlantic Basin (Africa, Americas, Europe, or the Caribbean)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Available from December 7–13, 2025
  • Actively creating impact in their communities or industries
  • Demonstrating leadership potential and a strong professional track record
  • Passionate about collaboration across cultures and eager to engage in global dialogue

How to Apply for ADEL 2025: Step-by-Step

Applications must be submitted online via the official application form. Be sure to prepare the following materials:

  • 📄 Resume/CV (Max. 2 pages, PDF format)
  • 📝 Personal Statement (Max. 250 words) – Share your view on current leadership challenges and your role in the Atlantic space.
  • 🎥 One-minute Private YouTube Video – Address these four prompts:
    • Who are you and what do you do?
    • What motivates your work and its impact?
    • Why are you applying to ADEL?
    • How will you contribute to and benefit from the program?

Note: All documents must be submitted in English, and your YouTube video must be marked as “private” and accessible via a link.

Deadline: Sunday, June 15th, 2025  Incomplete or late submissions will not be reviewed.


Selection Process: What to Expect

After the deadline, applications will be thoroughly reviewed by a selection committee. Final decisions will be shared in September 2025.

Selection is competitive. Candidates are assessed on the basis of:

  • Professional experience and achievements
  • Proven leadership qualities
  • Community or sector impact
  • Awareness of Atlantic regional issues
  • Commitment to global collaboration and engagement
