Who Should Apply?

If yes, and you meet the following criteria, this fellowship is for you:
- Residency in LAC, Africa, or APAC regions
- Valid passport (specific deadlines apply)
- LAC: valid until April 2026
- APAC: valid until June 2026
- Africa: valid until February 2026
- At least 3 years of experience in Internet policy, technical, or business domains
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Commitment to attend one peering event
- Reliable broadband and tech access
- Availability between 11:00–15:00 UTC for virtual sessions
Notably, individuals from Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and Small Island Developing States are strongly encouraged to apply.

What Are Peering Events and Why Do They Matter?
During the program, each fellow will be assigned to one regionally relevant event, where they’ll engage with key stakeholders and participate in cutting-edge discussions.
These events include:
- AfPIF – 19–21 August 2025 (Nigeria)
- LACNOG/LACNIC – 6–10 October 2025 (TBC)
- Peering Asia – 4–6 November 2025 (Philippines)
Each fellow will receive:
- Round-trip airfare
- Hotel accommodation
- A fixed stipend for other expenses
However, please note: visa fees are not covered, and travel arrangements are strictly fixed for event dates.
How the Selection Process Works
Transparency is key. Therefore, once applications are received, they go through two independent review stages, each conducted by a separate committee. Importantly, reviewers will not have access to personal demographic information, ensuring an unbiased evaluation process.
After the review concludes, all applicants will be informed whether they’ve been selected.
