Who Should Apply?

The 2026 special call for applications targets high-achieving, qualified, and enterprising individuals from across Africa and the African Diaspora. Master’s Programs Eligibility Requirements:

  • Male applicants: not older than 25 years; female applicants: not older than 28 years
  • Hold an undergraduate degree (at least second-class upper division) in a relevant field
  • Submit certified copies of all certificates and transcripts
  • Provide a valid passport or national ID and a color passport-size photograph
  • Upload a detailed CV and a recommendation letter from a past university lecturer
  • Include contact details of three reference university lecturers, including emails and WhatsApp numbers

PhD Programs Eligibility Requirements:

  • Meet all master’s prerequisites and pass a possible written or oral exam after pre-selection
  • For Conference Interpreting/Translation, demonstrate excellent fluency in at least two official African Union languages
