The Cardinal Onaiyekan Foundation for Peace (COFP) invites applications for the 2025/2026 COFP Fellowship Program—a fully funded opportunity for individuals dedicated to fostering peace and driving positive change in their communities.
About the COFP Fellowship Program
Since its launch in 2018, the COFP Fellowship has trained over 325 individuals from 16 African countries, equipping them with the skills and knowledge to engage in conflict management, peacebuilding, and interfaith dialogue.
This program is designed by Africans, for Africans, ensuring that the training is locally relevant and impactful.
What You’ll Gain
✅ Tailored Learning Experience: The fellowship consists of three modules delivered in quarterly week-long, in-person training sessions in Abuja, Nigeria.
✅ Hands-On Peacebuilding: Fellows receive a seed grant to implement a community-based peace project before graduation.
✅ Professional Certification: Graduates earn university certificates in Interreligious Dialogue, Conflict Transformation, and Mediation.

Program Costs & Eligibility
🎓 The Fellowship is Fully Funded! However, selected fellows are responsible for their transportation to Abuja, Nigeria, for the three in-person training sessions.
