Seize the Future: Apply for the Digital Transformation Internship 2025. Are you passionate about shaping the digital future while supporting sustainable development goals? The Digital Transformation Internship 2025 from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in cutting-edge projects, all from the comfort of your home. As digital technology redefines our world, this internship invites you to become part of a global movement that prioritizes innovation, inclusion, and equity.
Intern Remotely, Impact Globally
The role is fully home-based, giving flexibility without sacrificing the global exposure that comes from working with one of the most influential international development organizations. More importantly, this opportunity isn’t just about gaining professional experience — it’s about being part of a mission to transform lives through digital innovation.
Since the launch of its first digital strategy in 2019, UNDP has rapidly accelerated its digital agenda. Now, through the Digital Strategy 2022–2025, the organization is deepening its efforts to create inclusive digital ecosystems, support AI readiness, and provide cutting-edge tools for development.
Explore Diverse Areas of Work

Support UNDP country offices in assessing national digital capabilities. Your tasks could involve drafting AI strategies, developing governance frameworks, or building data capacities for decision-making. Strategy Implementation and Innovation Support: Engage directly with UNDP’s Chief Digital Office, contribute to strategic planning, support internal communication, and manage the Digital Strategy performance indicators.
Product Design and AI Tools
Collaborate with developers to co-create impactful tech solutions, ranging from apps and platforms to AI-based systems. You’ll be part of the design, testing, and implementation phases, a rare hands-on opportunity. Partnerships and Strategic Communication
Research potential partners, draft concept notes, MoUs, and help shape UNDP’s external engagement. You’ll also help with speech writing, event planning, and content creation.
