About the Scholarship
Midwestern Oil & Gas Company Limited, in partnership with SunTrust Oil Company Nigeria Limited, operates the Umusadege Field in OML 56, Delta State. As part of its commitment to human capital development, Midwestern offers this scholarship to support students from its host communities and Delta State at large.
Categories of Awards
🎓 University Community Award – Exclusively for students from host communities. 🎓 University Merit Award – For Delta State indigenes who meet merit-based criteria.
Who Can Apply?
University Community Award (For Host Communities Only)
✔ Open to 100 & 200 level students in accredited Nigerian universities.
✔ Minimum 5 Credits in SSCE or GCE, including Mathematics & English (one sitting).
✔ Must have JAMB/UTME & University admission letter.
✔ Must present a current university ID card.
✔ Letter of identification signed by the Ward Councilor or CACC.
University Merit Award (For Delta State Indigenes Only)
✔ Open to 200 level students with a minimum CGPA of 3.5.
✔ Minimum 5 Credits in SSCE or GCE, including Mathematics & English (one sitting).
✔ Must have JAMB/UTME & University admission letter.
✔ Must present a current university ID card.
✔ Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.5 from first year.
✔ Letter of identification from LGA.
