Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the World Bank Legal Internship Program, applicants must:
✅ Be a citizen of an IBRD member state.
✅ Be currently enrolled in an LLB, JD, LLM, SJD, PhD, or equivalent legal academic program during the internship period.
✅ Have an excellent command of English (knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish is a plus).
Internship Cycles & Application Deadlines
📅 Summer 2025 (June – August) → Apply: December 1 – December 31, 2024
📅 Fall 2025 (September – November) → Apply: April 1 – April 30, 2025
📅 Spring 2026 (March – May) → Apply: September 1 – September 30, 2025
Interns will be based at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington, D.C., with limited placements available in selected country offices.
