About the NNPC OANDO Scholarship
As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the NNPC/NAOC/OANDO Joint Venture is inviting eligible students to apply for its 2025 Tertiary Scholarship Scheme. This initiative is aimed at supporting outstanding Nigerian students in tertiary institutions across the country.
Scholarship Categories
📌 Host/Transit Communities Merit Award: For applicants strictly from OANDO Host/Transit Communities.
📌 National Merit Award: For applicants from Non-Host/Transit communities.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must:
✅ Be full-time undergraduate students in a Nigerian tertiary institution.
✅ Be 100-level students admitted in the 2024/2025 academic session.
✅ Be Nigerian citizens.
✅ Not be beneficiaries of any other scholarship from an entity in the Oil and Gas Industry.
✅ Be studying Engineering, Geology, Geosciences, or Agricultural Science (for the National Merit Award).
🚫 Who Should NOT Apply?
❌ Current beneficiaries of similar scholarships from other companies.
❌ Dependents of NAOC/NAE/AENR/NACPFA.
❌ Students from non-host communities applying for the Host Communities Merit Award.
Scholarship Benefits
🎓 ₦200,000 Annual Grant – Covers the duration of the selected student’s study.

📌 Passport photograph (white background, not older than 3 months).
📌 School ID Card.
📌 O’level Certificate.
📌 Admission Letter.
📌 Birth Certificate.
📌 Proof of Local Government Area of Origin.
📌 Letter from Community Paramount Ruler (Host Communities Merit Award applicants only).
📌 Letter from CDC Chairman (Host Communities Merit Award applicants only).
