Apply for Funding: International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) 2025

Are you working on an innovative cultural project and need funding to bring it to life? The International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) is now accepting applications for its 2025 funding cycle. Through an open and competitive process, the IFCD funds transformative projects with grants of up to $100,000 for initiatives implemented over a 12–24-month period.

The IFCD supports projects that lead to structural change in the cultural sector by:

  • Developing and implementing policies and measures that enhance the creation, production, distribution, and accessibility of diverse cultural expressions, including cultural goods and services.
  • Strengthening human and institutional capacities within the public and private sectors to promote sustainable cultural industries in developing countries.

How to Apply

  1. Create Your Account – Register for access to the IFCD online platform.
  2. Complete the Application Form – Once registered, fill out and submit your proposal via the online platform.

Eligibility Criteria

Who Can Apply?

  • Public authorities and institutions from eligible developing countries (Parties to the 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions).
  • Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) from eligible developing countries.
  • International NGOs (INGOs) registered in countries that are also Parties to the 2005 Convention.

Funding Details

  • Maximum Grant: $100,000
  • Implementation Period: 12–24 months
  • Languages of Submission: English or French
